Grief & Loss Counseling

Grief is undoubtedly one of the most painful parts of the human experience. Although it’s something that everyone experiences at some point in life, it can feel incredibly isolating when you’re in the thick of it.

You may be familiar with the popular “Five Stages of Grief” model theorized by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. However, it’s important to recognize that grief doesn’t have a designated timeline, and it certainly isn’t a linear process. Having a support system in place — including an empathetic therapist you can confide in — is crucial during this challenging time.

Our compassionate counselors can help you navigate and process your grief to provide a sense of healing. By walking alongside you through each step of the grieving process and sitting with you in the pain, our therapists can help you feel a little less alone.

Whether you are experiencing traditional grief as a result of bereavement or you are grieving the loss of something else (ability, a job, a home, a relationship, etc.), we’re here to support you. Everyone’s grief journey is different, and our compassionate counselors are honored to accompany you on yours.

“Grief is a sign that we loved something more than ourselves.” — Joan Chittister
